Creamery Rehabilitation and Renovation
The Creamery is moving forward on plans to rehabilitate and update the Master List Historic Golden State Creamery. The project was reviewed by the Cultural Heritage Committee (CHC) and given final approval by the Architectural Review Commission (ARC) on July 18, 2016. The project is currently under construction and will include rehabilitation of the existing building facades and roofs, construction of a new 2,880 square foot commercial building, a new taqueria restaurant, an addition to Spike’s, and create a new pedestrian plaza. The rehabilitation and renovation of the Historic site will provide new retail space and rejuvenate an important landmark of City history.
