May is Bike Month
Get active, reduce greenhouse gases, and have fun
The City of San Luis Obispo is partnering with SLO Regional Rideshare to promote an active lifestyle, reducing greenhouse gases, and the camaraderie of riding with others. You can even win a new bike!
- City Council Meeting (May 2, 2017, 6pm at City Hall) Ride your bike to the city council meeting and get a free bike bell and leg strap.
- “May the Fourth Be With You” Bike Breakfast hosted by PACE. Ride in wearing a Star Wars t-shirt or other memorabilia (May 4, 2017, 7am-9am at City Hall)
- May 19th is Bike to Work Day: There will be food and swag stations located throughout the city and county. Ride alone or rally some colleagues together as a group! On your ride home, drop by the Bike to Work Day After Party from 6:30pm-9:30pm at the SLO Guild Hall (2880 Broad St) for libations, the Bikes & Beauty Fashion Show, and a chance to win prizes.
- Pancake Bike Breakfast at Fire Station 1 (May 30, 2017, 7am-8:30am at the corner of Santa Barbara and Broad Street)
