Water Resource Recovery Facility

The City’s Water Resource Recovery Facility, also known as the WRRF, went through its final review approval with the Architectural Review Commission (ARC) on January 29, 2018. The project also received approval for an update to the existing Use Permit from the Planning Commission on January 10, 2018. The proposed project is located at 35 Prado Road and includes an in-depth upgrade to the existing WRRF to meet new discharge permit requirements, increase capacity to meet future sewer flows and loads under dry and wet weather conditions, replace aging infrastructure, maximize recycled water production and construct a new Water Resource Center that includes a public education space and a demonstration wetland.
