MISSION: As set forth in the Investment Management Plan, this committee is responsible for reviewing the City’s portfolio on an ongoing basis to determine compliance with the City’s investment policies and for making recommendations to the City Treasurer (Director of Finance and Information Technology) regarding investment management practices.

OTHERS PRESENT: Al Eschenbach, Independent Auditor and ex-officio member; Jayson Schmitt, Chandler Investments;


PUBLIC COMMENTS:  At this time, the public is invited to address the Committee concerning items not on the agenda but are of interest to the public and within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Investment Advisory Committee.  Time limit is three minutes.  The Committee may not discuss  or take action on issues that are not  on the agenda other than to briefly respond to statements made or questions raised, or to ask staff to follow up on such issues.


1.        Approval of Investment Oversight Committee meeting minutes of February 20, 2014


2.        Presentation of the Quarterly Report and Portfolio Performance


a.    Review and Confirm Investment Policy Compliance


3.        Discussion and presentation of information comparing the City’s portfolio characteristics to those of other cities


4.        Discussion of possible changes to the investment policy to allow additional investments with higher yields


5.        Discussion of possible changes to the investment policy related socially responsible investments


6.        Topics for future consideration


7.        Adjournment
