Administrative Hearing


A G E N D A

The City of San Luis Obispo's Zoning Hearing Officer will hold a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. or later on Friday, August 1, 2014, in the Council Hearing Room (Room 9), at City Hall, 990 Palm Street, to consider the following:

1.   3855 Broad Street.  A 125-14; Request to allow a medical office and outpatient surgery clinic in the Business Park (BP) zone; Pacific Eye, applicant.  (Kyle Bell)

2.   3720 and 3680 Broad Street.  A 106-14; Request to establish a wholesale and distribution business and a temporary business facility and construction office on a site with Special Considerations; C-S-S zone; Bill Hand, McCarthy Steel, applicant.  (Rachel Cohen)

3.   600 Tank Farm Road.  A 121-12; Request to allow the development of a new 75,000-square foot data center including requests to:  1) approve warehousing/indoor storage that exceeds 25% of the total combined floor area; 2) approve a 20% parking reduction; 3) approve a creek setback exception to accommodate the development of a bike trail; and 4) adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact; BP-SP zone; Tim Williams, applicant.  (Pam Ricci) 

PLEASE NOTE:  Any court challenge to the actions taken on these public hearing items may be limited to considering only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of San Luis Obispo at, or prior to, the public hearing.

Any decision of the Hearing Officer is final unless appealed to the Planning Commission within 10 days of the action.  Any person aggrieved by the decision may file an appeal. Appeal forms are available in the Community Development Department or on the City’s website (www.slocity.org).  The fee for filing an appeal is $273 and must accompany the appeal documentation.
