Measure Y Sales Tax Increase

In November 2006, voters in the City of San Luis Obispo approved Measure Y, which increased the sales tax rate in the City limits by 1/2 cent.  For more information click here.

Q: How to start/stop service?

A: There are three really easy ways to do this:

  • You can do it online, 24 hours a day! Click here for online service orders.
  • You can call us at (805) 781-7133. We can do everything over the phone. Our phone line hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • You can come into City Hall, 990 Palm Street, to the Finance Department public counter and sign up for service in person.
