Youth Basketball
Presented by the Parks and Recreation Department and the SLO County YMCA. Leagues are as follows: Ages 5-12. Games begin the first weekend in December.

Flag Football at Damon-Garcia Sports Fields
The Parks and Recreation Department and the SLO YMCA team up with the NFL to offer organized flag football for local youth. Children pick-up basic football skills while participating in a positive, non-contact and continuous action sport.

Futsal (Indoor Soccer)
Sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department and the SLO County YMCA, Futsal is played on a small court with five players on each team with a variation of outdoor soccer rules.
Open to boys and girls ages 5 -17. Teams will be divided up in grade levels. Attendance required at mandatory parent meeting to complete program registration by participating in a half hour presentation of the PAYS (Parent Association for Youth Sports) Program.
Season 2014
Early registration is January 1 through 31, 2014
Late registration February 1 through 28, 2014
Game dates are Friday Nights, April 4 through May 30, 2014

Youth Lacrosse
Presented by the Parks and Recreation Department and the SLO County YMCA for girls and boys ages 9-15 years. Games played at Taylor Field in San Luis Obispo.
Spring 2014
Games: Saturdays, April 12, 26, May 3-24; 1:30, 2:30 or 3:30pm
Practice Times: TBD by coaching staff

Junior Giants Baseball:

Junior Giants Baseball at Stockton Field (Sinsheimer Park)
Junior Giants is a non-competitive baseball program that focuses on building confidence, teamwork, integrity and leadership skills. Junior Giants, for boys and girls, uses baseball as a tool to teach and encourage positive character development. All participants and their families must attend Mandatory Orientation. Volunteer Coaches NeededJunior Giants Practice
Become a volunteer coach for the Junior Giants program! No need to have baseball experience, but a love of the game helps! Male and female coaches needed. Coaches are trained in San Francisco by professional athletes at AT&T Park. Program requirements include commitment on program days throughout the summer for a minimum of two hours each day.

Teen Basketball

Teen basketball program at SLO High.

Teen Cross Country
Girls and boys at Laguna Middle School are invited to be a part of the Laguna Cross Country team. Team participates in meets with local schools.

Teen Track and Field

The Teen Track and Field program at Laguna Middle School is for all levels of experience. The team travels to various meets throughout the season and
competes against local junior high and middle schools.

Teen Volleyball
Girls and boys at Laguna Middle School have the opportunity to bump, set, spike and develop volleyball skills within a supportive environment.
