Current Programs

The ‘Avoid the 14’ grant against drunk and drug impaired drivers runs from
Oct of 2013 through September of 2014. The campaign includes DUI checkpoints, DUI saturation patrols, Warrant/Probation sweeps, and Court stings. The Office of Traffic Safety has funded overtime for officers to conduct DUI related events during the grant period. Every DUI arrest made by officers working this campaign means fewer drunk drivers having a negative impact on our community.
