Downtown permit restrictions
for the holiday season*

*Encroachment Permits and Parking Meter Bags will not be issued from November 24, 2014 to January 5, 2015.

Public Works Department issues the following permits:

  • Encroachment Permit - Allows individuals, contractors or utilities companies to do work within the public right-of-way.

  • Transportation Permit - Required whenever the size or weight of a vehicle and/or load exceed the maximums allowed by the California Vehicle Code. Click here to download a Transportation Permit Application.
