Shelter to Open for Displaced Residents

An American Red Cross shelter is opening in Morro Bay on Friday, January 20 at 2:00 pm for residents in the county who have been displaced due to the storms

San Luis Obispo, CA – On Friday, January 20, the American Red cross in cooperation with the City of Morro Bay and the County of San Luis Obispo will be opening a shelter for residents who have been displaced due to the storms countywide, this includes residents of SLO City who have been displaced. The shelter will be located at the Morro Bay Community Center, 1001 Kennedy Way, Morro Bay.  It will open at 2:00 pm on January 20 and will close the morning of Tuesday, January 24. The shelter will accept pets. Anyone who has been displaced from their residence due to the storms is welcome. The shelter will accept pets. The County of San Luis Obispo Office of Emergency Services has posted recovery information for the public on their RecoverSLO.org website for those in need of assistance following the recent storm. This includes how to re-enter your home if you experienced damage, cleanup and recovery resources, and information regarding financial assistance.

San Luis Obispo, CA – El viernes 20 de enero, la Cruz Roja Estadounidense en cooperación con la Ciudad de Morro Bay y el Condado de San Luis Obispo abrirán un refugio para los residentes que han sido desplazados debido a las tormentas en todo el condado, esto incluye a los residentes de la ciudad de SLO que tienen sido desplazado.
