City of SLO Adopts Low Water and Sewer Rate Increases, New Customer Assistance Program
The City Council also approved a Utilities Customer Assistance Program at the June 1 meeting intended to provide a 15% discount to those in the community in need.

Community Asked To Report Creek Bed, Open Space Fires
Community members can report smoke or fires observed in the City’s open space and creeks by calling the 24/7 non-emergency dispatch line at (805) 781-7312. If the fire appears to be out of control, the fire department asks that individuals make a report by dialing 9-1-1.
