Join us for a community webinar to discuss the 2022 Update to the City’s Clean Energy Program for New Buildings! San Luis Obispo’s Sustainability Manager will discuss all-electric new buildings and their role in achieving our community’s carbon neutrality goals.
Electrifying new buildings helps community members save money and breathe better! Electrification reduces the lifetime costs of operating appliances compared to using fossil fuel appliances, and electrification contributes to better indoor air quality. We are happy to share that we’re on our way toward achieving the community’s carbon neutrality goals with new all-electric buildings that have energy efficient appliances plugged into clean electricity.
We’ll provide an overview of climate and housing solutions, describe the City’s 2022 update to the Clean Energy Program for New Buildings, and provide an opportunity to ask questions. Feedback will also be taken via Open City Hall (link coming soon).
If you are unable to make the meeting but would like to learn more and offer your input via Open City Hall, please visit www.slocity.org/cleanenergybuildings or register for the webinar
