If you have storm-related debris or storm-damaged property at your San Luis Obispo residence, please do not leave it curbside.

Storm Debris Drop-Off Program
The City of San Luis Obispo will provide a temporary location for San Luis Obispo residents to drop off storm-related debris and storm-damaged materials for disposal next week. 

WHAT: For a full list of acceptable materials, please visit www.coastalrolloff.com/materials.

WHO: Only City of San Luis Obispo residents may use this service; no commercial or contractors.

WHEN: Tuesday, January 17, 2023 through Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon)

WHERE: City Corporation Yard, 25 Prado Rd, San Luis Obispo. (NOTE: The City and the SLO County Integrated Waste Management Authority are also working together to provide drop-off locations for other areas in San Luis Obispo that have sustained the most storm-related damage and we will be reaching out door-to-door in those neighborhoods.)

HOW: Residents must transport and unload materials themselves.

Other options to remove your storm-related debris:

  1. Call San Luis Garbage at 805-543-0875 (Monday – Friday from 8AM to 4:30PM to schedule a special pickup)
  2. Self-haul the materials to Cold Canyon Landfill
  3. For bigger debris removal projects, consider renting a roll-off
