Earth Month - Rekindling SLO Creek's Foodweb

Over the last quarter millennium, SLO Creek has undergone massive changes to its flow and behavior. Join us as we remember a wetter, quieter and simpler world under the canopies of majestic trees. There, we will talk about some of the connections that tie together the food web. Then, we’ll peer into the future and discuss the composition of our watershed and the reconnection of these linkages and the communities that rely on them.

The managed, edible landscapes and wild streams of the last 5,000 years of human history on the central coast are experiencing a dry and entrenched pattern since Spanish contact.
