Do you want to serve in an outdoor environment and leave an area better - more beautiful - than you found it? 

The City of San Luis Obispo strives to keep public spaces clean, safe, and and enjoyable for all who visit and maintain high standards of care carried out by volunteers and staff. This volunteer opportunity will serve downtown San Luis Obispo. The shift may include: 

• Planting and tending to native plant species
• Raking leaves
• Clearing out shrub beds
• Weed removal
• Painting projects
• Graffiti & debris removal
• Tree planting and providing ongoing tree care/maintenance
• Sticker removal
• Disinfecting surfaces

All essential tools and resources are provided by the City of San Luis Obispo. No previous experience needed and 'on-the-job' & safety training are provided by City staff once volunteers are onboarded.
