Attend our Homelessness Response Forum
The City of San Luis Obispo invites you to attend a Homelessness Response Forum on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Ludwick Community Center.
Please join us for a conversation about homelessness in our community and ways that the City, County, and local service providers are working to address it.
The event will include a short presentation by City staff, followed by a Q&A panel discussion with key stakeholders. We are asking community members to submit questions in advance through our online form. The panel will include:
- Moderator, John Townsend, Community Member
- City Attorney, Christine Dietrick, City of SLO
- Fire Chief, Todd Tuggle, SLOFD
- Lieutenant, Aaron Schafer, SLOPD
- Deputy Director of Adult & Homeless Services, Linda Belch, County of SLO
- Deputy Director of Behavioral Health, Frank Warren, County of SLO
- Community Services Program Director, Lawren Ramos, CAPSLO
Following the panel discussion, local service providers will be available to answer questions about resources and programs they provide.
Note: If you are not able to attend, a recording will be available on the City's website following the forum.

- 9:00am - 9:30am: City Overview Presentation
- 9:30am - 11:00am: Panel Discussion with Q&A
- 11:00am - 12:00pm: Service Provider Resource Expo
