Updated on 6/3/2022 at 10:29 p.m.: Work is complete and Broad Street has been reopened in both directions between Capitolio and Industrial Way. 

Updated on 6/3/2022 at 8:58 a.m.: Broad Street remains closed between Capitolio and Industrial Way. Crews worked through the night to stop the main line break at approximately midnight. Work is now being done to repair the roadway and is expected to take the remainder of June 3, 2022. Broad Street will continue to be closed between Capitolio and Industrial Way with traffic routed onto Sacramento Street. Please continue to avoid the area.

WHAT: Broad Street between Capitolio Way and Industrial Way is currently closed due to a water main line break. Crews are on site working to repair the line. Water service for those in the immediate area may be affected. Water discoloration for those nearby may occur, but it is not harmful. Staff is providing bottled water on-site.  Traffic is being routed onto Sacramento Street. Please avoid the area.
