First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do. We’re Building Game Changers through our junior golf programs.

Experiences are our greatest teacher. First Tee believes in developing the ones that are just as fun as they are meaningful, where kids feel excited to grow, safe to fail, and better equipped for whatever comes their way next. Through our golf-based personal growth programs, we see kids build life and leadership skills that empower them in all areas of  life, including school, friendships and eventually careers.

TOURNAMENTS 

A 10- or 20-hole tournament is great fun! Tournaments are ideal for special occasions, such as birthday parties, fund raisers and any other social gatherings. A no cost barbecue facility is available with a tournament or driving range reservation. To schedule a tournament or rent facilities, please call 805-781-7027.

What Type of Tournament Would You Like to Reserve?

• SHOTGUN or CLOSED COURSE Booking – Required with 32 Golfers or More

  SHOTGUN Tournaments require a non-refundable BOOKING FEE of $279.00.  Once the application is approved and accepted, the $279.00 BOOKING FEE is due within 2 days to reserve the reservation.  (Please note this is not a deposit)

  • A Minimum of 32 golfers is required
  • A 50% non-refundable PARTICIPANT GREEN FEE of the ESTIMATED number of participants is due 48 hours/2 days before the scheduled Tournament date
  • The final participant count and PARTICIPANT GREEN FEE balance must be paid the day of the Tournament, before the Tournament commences

     

• REGULAR Tournament Booking - Open Course
  • No BOOKING FEE is required for a Regular Tournament
  • 10-30 Golfers/4-7 Foursomes is required
  • A 50% non-refundable PARTICIPANT GREEN FEE of the ESTIMATED number of participants is due 48 hours, 2 days, before the scheduled Tournament date
  • The final participant count and PARTICIPANT GREEN FEE balance must be paid the day of the Tournament, before the Tournament commences

• Golfer Participant Rates

$13.00 for up to 39 Golfers/10 Holes           $11.25 for Replay/10 Holes     $19.50 for 20 Holes 

$11.00 for 40 or More Golfers/10 Holes      $9.00 for Replay/10 Holes       $17.50 for 20 Holes

Large Events

Large Events are defined as an event that will require a course closure to allow special events and festivities.  Groups requesting a large event are required to contact the Recreation Coordinator at the Laguna Lake Golf Course to discuss available dates to host the event.  Facility use is not guaranteed unless this step is taken.
