The Halloween safety enhancement zone was amended in January 2024 expanding the time period of the double fine zone. This years' Halloween safety enhancement zone is as follows:

Thursday, October 24 at midnight - Monday, October 28 at 7am

AND

Thursday, October 31 at midnight - Monday, November 4 at 7am 

Fines for noise, unruly gathering, public urination and open container are doubled. A first violation for noise, public urination and open container will be $700, a first violation for unruly gathering will be $1000.
