APPROVED RATES STARTING JULY 1, 2024:
City council approved a new rate structure that will go into effect on July 1, 2023. The new rates in downtown structures will be as follows:

• Hourly rate: $2
• Max daily rate: $8 (including Sundays)
• Lost ticket fee: $8

Please note:

• No RVs, motorcycles (only in designated areas on the first floor of the structure) or trailers are allowed in the structures. Due to height limitations, loaded roof racks are discouraged from using the structures.
• Disabled Parking inside the structures must pay.
• Parking backwards is prohibited in structures and lots.

Electric Charging Stations:

There are a total of 19 electric vehicle charging stations located in Parking Lot 4, bottom of the 871 Marsh Parking Structure.  These are not parking stalls. There are two electric charging stations that include Disabled parking but you must be charging and have either a Disabled Placard or Disabled License Plate.

• Rates: $1.50/hour for the first four hours then $4/hour after that. There is no charging time limit, and the stations are available 24/7.

• To charge, download the ChargePoint app and create and account. There is no cost to create the account and payments for charging can be made through the app.  Visit www.chargepoint.com for complete information on downloading the app, finding available charging locations and helpful EV tips.

City of SLO Parking Garage Permits

City of San Luis Obispo Downtown Garage Permits cost $45 per month and include access to all three garages (842 Palm Street, 919 Palm Street and 871 Marsh Street).

You can purchase permits in-person or online at slo.thepermitportal.com. Permits can be picked up at the City of SLO Mobility Services Office at 1260 Chorro Street, Suite B, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Friday by appointment only.
