Project Plans
The 2025 paving project includes repaving of roads, adding accessible curb ramps to sidewalks, employing measures to reduce illegal speeding, and more.
This project includes improvements to the following city streets:
- Tank Farm Road (Broad Street to Orcutt Road)
- Orcutt Road (Tank Farm Road to City/County Line)
- Sacramento Drive (Industrial Road to Via Esteban)
- Calle Joaquin (Motel 6 to City/County Line)
Project Details
The project will include pavement rehabilitation, ADA upgrades to pedestrian curb ramps, and bicycle and pedestrian improvements for different streets as identified in the City’s Active Transportation Plan and Vision Zero Program.
Design Details
A preliminary draft of the detailed project plans will be uploaded here by November 15, 2024.

The current engineering plans are preliminary and still require further analysis and design. Further analysis is needed to guide final designs includes assessment of utility conflicts, truck turning templates for emergency vehicle and transit access, and ADA compliance.
