Home MenuComplete Streets Improvements in SLO
The City's Public Works Department is working on several Complete Streets projects. A Complete Street is a road that is safe and easy to use for everyone, including people who walk, bike, drive, and ride buses. Our Complete Streets projects on Higuera Street and Foothill Boulevard will make these roads safer for everyone.
These projects are part of the City's plan to make streets safer (Vision Zero Program) and to support walking and biking (Active Transportation Plan). These projects will help us reach our goal of having no traffic deaths or serious injuries and will support the City’s climate and transportation goals.
