Due to the impacts of COVID-19 on planning major events and large gatherings, the City of San Luis Obispo today announced the cancelation of the 41st annual SLO Triathlon which was scheduled to take place on July 26, 2020.

City Takes Additional Action to Protect Community in Response to COVID-19; Bars to Close and Restaurants Limited to Pick Up Service
On March 18, 2020, City Manager Derek Johnson acting as the Emergency Services Director, issued an emergency proclamation to take additional action to protect the community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to place temporary restrictions on restaurants and bars throughout the City.
