Installation and Locations

ADA Ramp ConstructionThe city's sidewalk (or curb) ramp projects are generally paid in part with Community Development Block Grant funds (CDBG) as they meet one of the basic criteria of CDBG funding which is to provide access to persons with disabilities. The City of San Luis Obispo is committed to constructing new or upgrading existing ramps to provide improved accessibility for people in our community and help implement the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In accordance with the City’s pavement management plan, ramp construction is generally designed for the area that will receive paving and slurry sealing work the following year.
