Continuous Water & Sewer Service Accounts

The City of San Luis Obispo Utilities Department now offers continuous service agreements for property owners and property managers. 

The Continuous Service Account option ensures that there will never an interruption in water and sewer service to the property. This option allows for automatic transfer of the utility account for water and sewer services to the landlord or property owner when a tenant discontinues the account. This option comes with no sign-up fee, but all related charges for water and sewer services will be billed to the Continuous Service Account from the day of transfer and as set-up under the continuous service account information.

Please note that the continuous service account cannot be discontinued until a new tenant claims the account and sets up service as the new party responsible for services. The continuous service account holder is responsible for informing new tenants of their need to arrange for the transfer of water and sewer service into their individual names at the time of occupancy.

To sign up for Continuous Service Accounts, please fill out the form below and email a copy to UB@slocity.org or mail to 879 Morro Street, SLO CA 93401. When we receive the signed agreement, we will setup and activate your Continuous Service Accounts.
